MORE THAN MUSIC

MUSOMA transforms music into a powerful tool for connection, creativity, and well-being. With a contemporary approach to violin performance, music education, and wellness, we create experiences that move people — physically, emotionally, and meaningfully.

Founded by Jessica — violinist, composer, educator, dancer, and wellness advocate — MUSOMA draws on over 25 years of experience in classical and contemporary music.

Her journey began at age 6, studying both violin and dance. By 16, Jessica became Concertmaster of the Sydney Youth Philharmonic. By 17, she toured Europe with the Sydney Youth Orchestra, and composed her first original electric violin duet, Ignited. Since then, she’s performed on iconic stages worldwide alongside renowned artists.

Alongside her artistic career, Jessica spent over a decade as a corporate consultant for some of Australia’s leading organisations, including CommBank. Navigating high-pressure environments gave her first-hand insight into the toll of stress and burnout. These experiences became the catalyst for MUSOMA Living — created with the intention to help others reconnect with themselves through music, movement, and mindfulness. By transforming her own challenges into a purposeful path forward, Jessica now empowers others to find balance, creativity, and well-being in their own lives.

Jessica has been mentored by leading figures in Australia’s music landscape, including
Richard Tognetti (Australian Chamber Orchestra) and Richard Charlton (composer) — bringing a holistic, modern sensibility to everything MUSOMA offers.

THE MUSOMA METHOD™

Guided by music, grounded in science — The MUSOMA Method™ is Australia’s first mindfulness-based approach that transforms violin into a holistic, engaging, and empowering experience.

Developed by Jessica, it integrates traditional technique with evidence-based tools from wellness, neuroscience, and education. Designed to enhance everyday performance, learning, and emotional resilience, The MUSOMA Method™ is built on three core pillars:

MUSIC

A fabric or cloth billowing in the wind over a beach during sunset or sunrise.

Building confidence and musical proficiency at any age through guided, immersive listening — developing an intuitive understanding of rhythm, melody, and expression to enhance cognition, memory, and problem-solving.

MOVEMENT

Enhancing overall well-being through body awareness, mobility, and injury prevention — supporting healthy technique for musicians and well-being for all.

MINDFULNESS

Uses sound-led breathwork and grounding techniques to improve focus, regulate the nervous system, and support confidence in high-pressure environments — whether on stage or in everyday life.
